Couran Cove Island Resort has a range of accommodation in two unique environments - the Nature Accommodation has secluded Eco-Cabins set in a forest of paperbark trees and the Marine Accommodation, complete with first class facilities, has water views and gentle breezes.

Nature Accommodation
The Nature Cabins are located within the banksia forest in secluded tree canopy pockets. These nature cabins are fully self-contained, energy efficient and thoughtfully sited in the mature forest. They are as practical as they are modern, with open living areas that are smartly furnished and modern kitchens that are well equipped. High windows and modern design makes these cabins far more luxurious than the exterior would lead you to believe. On a hot day each cabin is a sanctuary, catching ocean breezes and shaded by the forest that hides them. Cabins represent an exclusive holiday hideaway.

Nature Studio Cabin - Renowned for the spacious light interior and a broad-screened wraparound verandah. The studio cabins have a modern kitchen complete with 4 burner gas hotplates for you to cook up a storm. The cabin is serviced on a 7 day cycle. [floor plan]

Nature 2 Bedroom Cabin - Large open-plan area, kitchenette, and a separate sleep-out with folding sofa. The two bedroom nature cabins are ideal for families or small groups, sleeping 4-6 people. The cabin serviced on a 7 day cycle. [floor plan]

Nature 2.5 Bedroom Cabin - With two bathrooms and broad verandahs, this nature cabin allows large family groups to holiday in harmony together. At 85.5m2 it features a gas BBQ on a private balcony and is serviced on a 7 day cycle. The lower level consists of a bathroom, single sofa bed, double sofa bed and lounge area. The middle level has a kitchen and dining area, and the upper level another bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a loft bedroom. This cabin sleeps 5-8 people. [floor plan]

Marine Accommodation
Choose between deluxe, suite, lodges or villas and enjoy the panoramic water views of the marina, lagoon or broadwater. Our contemporary range of rooms are designed with a natural, open-style architecture & marble bathrooms. All rooms are fitted with screens to let the gentle breezes in and keep the unwanted insects out.

Marine Deluxe - With sweeping views and generous balconies your stay in a Marine Deluxe room will be unforgettable. They feature Carrara marble bathrooms with twin basin vanities, a bath and separate shower. There is also a fold out sofa bed for an additional guest. Deluxe rooms can be converted to twin or king bed configurations. Rooms feature air conditioning, kitchenette and sleep 2-3 people. [floor plan]

Marine Suite - Fully air-conditioned with large terrace balconies over the lagoon the suites are suitable for young families or groups. The suites offer a separate double bedroom and two sofa beds in the lounge area that sleep 2 to 4 people. They feature Carrara marble bathrooms with twin basin vanities, a bath and separate shower. Suites can be converted to twin or king bed configurations. Suites feature air conditioning, fans and kitchenette. [floor plan]

2 Bedroom Marine Lodge - The Marine Lodges have their own large private deck with steps leading directly to the white beach sand of the lagoon or the marina. Bathrooms feature Carrara marble twin basin vanities as well as full sized baths and separate showers. All lodges are perched over the marine water or lagoon. The Lodges sleep 4 to 6 people and feature a kitchen, air conditioning, fans and heaters for winter. [floor plan]

4 Bedroom Marine Villa - The Marine villa multi level design creates the ideal environment for separate family living and cooking areas. A huge balcony deck and outside living area offers a barbeque venue or a parents retreat. The spacious villas are complete with elegant furnishing and the highest quality fittings. Upstairs consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, lounge area and kitchen, whereas downstairs has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and another lounge area. There are five food outlets at Couran Cove Island Resort from 5-star luxury to a casual snack by the pool as well as in-room dining.

The Restaurant, a feature restaurant overlooking the glistening marina and combines fantastic food with a fine wine selection for dining indoors or on the surrounding decks.

Boardwalk Bar and Café is the resort's central bar and meeting place offers café meals and specialty teas & coffees by day and oysters, sushi and tapas-style evening treats with a full bar service till late. There is live entertainment most weekends and you can choose to relax inside or outside with the marina and mountain sunsets.

Poolside Café at Spa Island is set in the oasis of swimming pools, and has a selection of a la carte meals including wood-fired pizza, sandwiches and crisp salads. There is also a full bar service to poolside lounges and café diners.

Oceanman Surf Club is perched high and overlooking the sand dunes and ocean beach. The café and bar offers eat in or take away fresh seafood, salads, snacks and bar service.

The General Store provides fresh fruit, vegetables, groceries, dairy products freshly baked bread and juices along with delicatessen items, newspapers, pharmaceuticals, books and children's toys. Beverages and groceries can be ordered through the Pantry delivery Service with room delivery if you choose to order through your in-room TV.

Meal Packages enable you to pre-purchase a Gold, Silver, or Bronze card prior to your arrival. Apart from the savings, these cards save you the hassle of dealing with daily restaurant bills and offer you a choice of 1, 2 and 3 meals a day at any of the 4 stunning food and beverage outlets above.

how to get there

Couran Cove Island Resort is just a 20 minute Fast Cat Ferry from the Departure Terminal at Runaway Bay, which is only 45 minutes drive south of Brisbane. Complimentary secure parking at the departure terminal is provided.
